Smile Design allows your patients to try out their new smile before committing to the final restoration. As a result, it increases case acceptance and patient satisfaction.
Using the latest digital design technology, our in-house smile designers in California will take the patient’s overall facial features – the lip line, the facial / dental midlines, interpupillary line, etc. – into account to craft the most aesthetic smile. How does Smile Design work?
Create a try-in over the patient's existing teeth using the latest dental technology for a more accurate and more interactive patient experience.
Step 1:
Take one photo of the patient's normal smile and one photo of their retracted smile.
Step 2:
Take a scan or physical impression of the un-prepped teeth.
Step 3:
Send photos and scan/impression to: admin@paramountdentalstudio.com.
Paramount Dental Studio creates a 3D digital design, superimposed on the patient’s photo to show the expected final result.
Step 4:
Once you approve the design, we print a model and create a putty matrix. You’ll create a try-in from the putty-matrix and the patient can try their new smile over their existing teeth. With increased confidence and predictability, the patient is much more likely to accept the case. (Note: the try-in only works if the patient’s existing teeth are smaller than the designed improvements).
Step 5:
Patient approves restoration. Use reduction guide stent to prep.
