Retention Types
Screw-Retained
Screw-retained implants are easier to retrieve than cement-retained, however cannot be used on cases with draw issues or screw access hole issues.
Cement-Retained
Cement-retained restorations will work on any case, and have improved aesthetics due to the lack of an access hole. However, cement-retained restorations are more difficult to retrieve and they use cement, which comes with a higher chance of periodontitis.
Screwmentable
Combines the easy retrievability of screw-retained with benefit of universal path of draw like a cementable restoration. Screwmentable cases work no matter the path of draw, but are limited when there is a screw access hole issue or if cement cannot be used.
Custom Abutments
Paramount uses authentic components wherever possible to ensure each restoration lives up to our quality standards. We take into account emergence profile, occlusion, path of draw, aesthetics, and much more when designing each custom abutment for optimal fit and longevity.
